Edward created this wood engraving for the book Weird, Wild and Wonderful. It represents the history of the highwayman, Tom Faggus. The weapon he used is kept at the Barnstaple Museums’ archive. Mr Faggus used to live in Winsford, Exmoor and this is a view overlooking the village.
