On the 10th November, the architects and artist behind The Observatory: The Study and The Workshop, received national recognition as they won the small projects category at The Wood Awards ceremony at Carpenters’ Hall in London.
A design competition to create a building for artist residencies commencing January 2015 was won by artist Edward Crumpton and architectures Charlotte Knight, Mina Gospavic, Ross Galtress & Lauren Shevills. Competition Winner Announced! After much deliberation and careful consideration by a highly experienced panel of judges, a design developed by of team of five young graduates in architecture and art was chosen.
